Berenice's Manifesto

Manifesto (Final)

After watching a couple of videos of John Hattie it really gave me a different perspective of what it meant to be a teacher. I recommend watching this video for anybody that works in the educational field.

  1. I'm always really excited to see the next generation of teachers expressing pedagogies that will create positive outcomes in the classroom! My favorite part of this manifesto is the willingness to listen to students and privilege their voices as crucial towards the success of the class. I think it's so important to offer a variety of tactics and strategies that pay attention to the different subjectivities and bodies that walk in, and how they all intersect. I also think it's crucial to look beyond the discipline and use anything available to create a better learning experience. I'm 100% you on using art, music, and technology to enhance the experience for everyone!
